Alex Bleeker is the bassist and co-founder of the beloved indie rock band Real Estate. During his twelve-year career as a musician, he has released nine full length albums, toured on five continents, and obsessively sought out countless regional delicacies. He holds a BA from Bennington College and lives in coastal California.
Luke Pyenson is a food and travel journalist whose articles and recipes have appeared in the New York Times, Washington Post, the Boston Globe, Saveur, and other local and national publications. He holds a MA in the Anthropology of Travel, Tourism, and Pilgrimage from SOAS, University of London and a BA in International Literary and Visual Studies from Tufts University. Luke is fluent in French, Arabic, Spanish, and Italian, and conversational in Portuguese and German. Until recently, was the drummer and co-manager of critically-acclaimed indie rock band Frankie Cosmos.
