Born and raised in East Texas, Heather Harper Ellett is a graduate of Southern Methodist University and a therapist in private practice. Her debut novel, Ain’t Nobody Nobody, was named a Best Mystery of the Year by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, a top debut of 2019 by BookPeople, a Best of Texas in 2019 by Lone Star Literary, and was a top finalist for Best Work of First Fiction by the Texas Institute of Letters. She lives in Dallas with her son, her husband, and two cats.
