LOTTA SONNINEN works as an editor of Finnish fiction and has also translated a lot of nonfiction. She got the idea for The Little Book of Bad Moods when working on yet another book on positivity. In her free time, she plays in a band and has tried to be funny on a stand-up comedy stage as well.
PIIA AHO is a graphic designer who loves book design more than anything. She always makes an effort to find the perfect visual tone for each book – whether it is crazy wild or toned down or anything in between. Piia’s book designs have often been awarded in The Most Beautiful Books of the Year competition.
Lotta and Piia’s humorous anti-wellness journal that embraces gloom, grumpiness, and general malcontent, The Little Book of Bad Moods was published by Gallery in the US and Bloomsbury UK in 2019. The follow-up, The Little Book of Bad Moods for Mothers, published from Bloomsbury UK in 2020.
