Marcella Pixley, represented by Victoria Wells Arms, is the author of National Book Award Longlisted Trowbridge Road (Candlewick) as well as Ready to Fall, Freak and Without Tess (all FSG). Freak was named a Best Book of the Year by Kirkus Reviews. Marcella’s poems have appeared in numerous literary magazines including Prairie Schooner, Feminist Studies, and Sow's Ear Poetry Review. She has also been nominated for a Pushcart Prize in poetry. Marcella teaches eighth grade English and runs writing workshops and talks for schools and libraries all over New England.
