Natascha Biebow, represented by Victoria Wells Arms, is the author of The Crayon Man: The True Story of the Invention of Crayola Crayons, illustrated by Steven Salerno and published by Houghton Mifflin. She is an experienced editor, founder of Blue Elephant Storyshaping, a coaching, editing and mentoring service aimed at helping children’s authors and illustrators shape their work pre-submission. She is the long-time Regional Advisor of the British Isles Region of the SCBWI and in 2018, she was awarded as an honorary Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) in recognition for her services to children's writers and illustrators.
Born in Johannesburg, Natascha grew up in Rio de Janeiro. After completing her BA at Smith College, she moved to London, England. She loves reading, eating chocolate, spending time with kids and travelling to new places. She loves blue and, ever since she was little, her favorite animals were elephants.
