Sarah is an illustrator from the San Francisco Bay Area, and currently based in Vancouver, Canada with her two cats, Goose and Kiki.

She is an Assistant Professor of Illustration at Emily Carr University of Art + Design, as well as an illustrator of picture books, middle grade projects, editorial campaigns and articles, and much more.

She loves telling visual stories and has been lucky to work on over 13 solo picture books, including CAROL GILLIAN AND THE SEARCH FOR VOICE (Magination Press, 2024), ONE OF A KIND: THE LIFE OF SYDNEY TAYLOR (Calkins Creek, 2024), JOSEPHINE AND HER DISHWASHING MACHINE (Calkins Creek, 2023), and YOU ARE A STAR, RUTH BADER GINSBERG (Scholastic, 2022). She specializes in non-fiction biographies, but also loves drawing food, animals, mermaids, and organic scenery.
